Need help with Name Day, found a wrong name day, or have an idea? Write to us at support@nameday.app and we'll get back to you. Please tell us your iPhone model, iOS version and the app version (at the bottom of the app's settings), and for a wrong name day, the name, the calendar and the date you expected.
Common questions
Does Name Day upload my contacts?
No. Name Day matches your contacts' names on your iPhone only. See the Privacy Policy.
A contact has the wrong name day
Open the person in the app. You can pick the name they celebrate, choose a different date, change their calendar, or mark that they don't celebrate a name day.
I don't get reminders
Check that notifications for Name Day are allowed in iOS Settings, and that reminders are on in the app's settings. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone, so open the app now and then to keep them up to date.
How do I use an invite code?
Open an invite link on your iPhone, or enter the code in the app's settings under Invite friends.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings → Privacy and choose Delete my data. This deletes your anonymous account and its data on our servers and clears the app's data on your iPhone.
